Annual Fund

The Denison Annual Fund is critical to the success of the Higher Ground Campaign. Over the life of the Campaign we seek a minimum of $24 million from Alumni, Parents, and Friends to support our current operations.

The Annual Fund makes up nearly 10 percent of the annual operating budget and helps bridge the gap between the cost of educating students and the revenue from tuition.

Your gift to the Denison Annual Fund provides resources for:

• student scholarships;
• faculty research and course development;
• athletic team budgets; and
• opportunities for students to work one-on-one with faculty members.

People, Programs
and Facilities

The Higher Ground Campaign has a minimum goal of $136 million for People, Programs and Facilities. Gifts and commitments given above and beyond one's Annual Fund support may be designated for a variety of endowments, academic and student life programs and facilities.

Endowments generate annual income to enhance the quality of Denison's offerings. Gifts to facility projects enhance the college's physical plant.

There are a variety of giving options available to individuals wishing to make a gift to one or more of the funding opportunities embraced in these Campaign components. The options take the form of outright gifts and pledges, and also may include planned gifts.
