ife on the Hill today reflects a generation of students that places a premium on options and social fluidity. Eighty percent of our students participate in intramurals; 40 percent are in varsity or club sports; and 35 percent of our young men and women are active in Greek life. More than 150 campus clubs and organizations keep our lights burning day and night. The Denison Community Association, an umbrella of volunteer committees, vigorously addresses social concerns ranging from juvenile justice to homelessness. The number of instrumental and vocal ensembles – from our 100-voice Gospel Choir to our two bluegrass bands – is at an all-time high. Our students weave together a life of academic, social, cultural, athletic, and civic achievement. There's no question that this generation will go on, as many have gone before it, to become accomplished leaders who shape the world.
